Pratik Gandhi Feels There's 'No Sense' In Comparing Abhishek Bachchan's The Big Bull Act With His Scam 1992 Performance

Pratik Gandhi’s fortunes in the entertainment world changed overnight after he starred in the critically acclaimed web series Scam 1992: the Harshad Mehta Story. The actor whose performance as the stockbroker charged with committing the biggest financial fraud in the country struck such a chord with the nation that when Abhishek Bachchan's stepped into the shoes of Harshad Mehta for The Big Bull, netizens couldn’t stop comparing the two.

Abhishek has been fielding comparisons with Pratik and Scam 1992 ever since the trailer of The Big Bull dropped. The star of the web show has now opened up about Abhishek’s performance being paralleled with his and told Bollywood Hungama,  “I don't think any two individuals especially artists can be or should be compared, as we are different human beings. The way we think, feel, emote is bound to be different. So there is no sense in any comparison. The two performances should be seen in reference to the script and the character requirement for the same.”

The actor added that he is yet to see Abhishek’s film The Big Bull but said he was looking forward to seeing the story with a new perspective.

Pratik is now working on his next web series with filmmaker and actor Tigmanshu Dhuliya which is based on the bestselling novel, Six Suspects.
