Priyanka Chopra Finally Reacts To Salman Khan Taking Constant Jibes At Her During Bharat Promotions

A few months back, Salman Khan was busy promoting his latest release Bharat and the apart from the details of the film another constant thing was his jibes on Priyanka Chopra. Priyanka was all set to play the lead in Bharat before she exited the film due to her impending nuptials with Nick Jonas. 

The decision, evidently, did not make Salman Khan too happy and went on to say things like “She has worked all her life so hard and when she got the biggest film of her life, she dumped the film and got married. Hats off! Usually, people leave their husbands for a film like this.” In fact, throughout the promotions, Salman kept taking digs at Priyanka and at one point even said, “Bharat was about to go on the floors and just five days before the shooting, Priyanka meets me and says that she wouldn't be able to work in the film. Now, if Priyanka hadn't left Bharat, how could we have brought Katrina on board.”

Despite all the jibes, Priyanka had not reacted to anything so far. Now that the actress is busy promoting her upcoming film The Sky Is Pink, she was finally asked about Salman’s jibes and Priyanka just had the classiest response to it. She said, “The only thing I’d say is that if there was a reaction required you’d have had it by now. Salman is amazing. I’ve always admired him. He came for Nick and my reception, we went to his house, I’m really close to his sister. So, there’s never an issue with him.”
