Desimartini.com got in touch with Tochi to understand more about the song and feel it on a different level altogether. Talking about the association with Drishyam play and his journey with the single Tochi said, “It was really great, it is a feeling, I can’t really put in words. I have lived my life in this song. The little girl in the song is me. My mother was very poor and I barely got to see much of her. And I still miss my mother and I still look for her. She was suffering from cancer for a long time and finally, she died in the year 2008. I still miss her after all these years.

Elaborating more on his equation with Drishyam Play and its people, the singer said, “Drishyam is too much into music. The people with Drishyam Play understand the life of an artist and then present him or her. Mukta and Manish are very philosophical and humble people. Mukta understands artists! It is almost as though I have a personal relationship with her that transcends time! Otherwise it wouldn’t have been possible for her to have understood me and the artist in me and come up with Rabbe Illahi the way she did and the song wouldn’t have had come out the way it has!”

Shedding more light on the inception of the song, Raina asserted, “I made this song 8 years ago and I waited for so many years, I had approached a lot many production houses but as they say, everything is supposed to happen at a destined time. It was destined to happen with Drisyham Play. I had written the song in 2011. I had to explain every word too the production house and then compose it - that is how the song came into being. I am thankful to Drishyam Play from the bottom of my heart.

Desimartini.com wishes Tochi all the very best with his singing career and all his future endeavours!
