Radhe Actor Gautam Gulati Reveals How Salman Khan Offered Him The Role; Says ‘I Could Not Believe It’

Salman Khan’s much awaited Radhe has finally released and it is everything fans expected-- full of action, drama and entertainment. Also starring Disha Patani and Jackie Shroff, the Prabhu Deva directorial also has something unique which we were definitely not expecting-- three deadly villains portrayed by Randeep Hooda, Bigg Boss 8 winner Gautam Gulati and Sangay Tsheltrim from Bhutan. Well, all three of them received great remarks for their performances and Gautam’s character Girgit has left us pleasantly surprised.

In a recent interview with ETimes, Gautam recalled how he was offered the role after a chance meeting with Salman. He was quoted saying, “This would not have been possible if Salman sir was not there. We met randomly and he hugged me and he thought we should work together, he asked me if I would play a negative role. I could not believe it. I told him that all my favourite heroes are the negative ones and the very next day, his team called me and it was done.”

He went on to share, “My clothes, look, training all started, the hairstyle was changed and the shoot commenced. I will never forget this. He has always been very helpful. It feels amazing when a top megastar is there to help me, and believes in me.” In an earlier chat, Gautam had revealed that it was Salman who decided his final look for Girgit.
