Radhika Apte Reveals She Got Married When She Learnt ‘It Is Easier To Get A Visa’, Says, ‘I Am Not A Big Marriage Person’

Actress Radhika Apte who seldom is seen speaking about her personal life during interviews answered questions about her marriage to Vikrant Massey and revealing why she got married to musician Benedict Taylor. The two actors were answering questions about themselves which they are usually never asked during interviews.

When Vikrant asked her ‘When did Radhika Apte get married?’ the actress sin response revealed, “Well, when I realised that it is easier to get a visa when you are married. I think there should be no boundaries. I am not a big marriage person, I don’t believe in the institution. I got married because visa was really a problem and we wanted to live together. I think that’s not fair.”

Radhika and Benedict have been married since 2012 and also stated that she’s currently in London with her husband where she’s spent the entire duration of the lockdown. The actress mentioned she’s on break from work for a year.

The Sacred Games actress had incidentally also met Benedict in London during one of her sabbaticals from work when she had gone there to learn contemporary dance.

Radhika’s last project Raat Akeli Hai released on Netflix during the lockdown which was murder mystery also starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui.
