Radhika Madan Reveals That She Was Rejected For SOTY2 Because She Wasn’t ‘Pretty Enough’!

Radhika Madan a busy bee right now. The TV actress, who shot to fame with Meri Ashiqui Tum Se Hi has already wrapped up the shoot of her next film, Angrezi Medium, where she will share screen space with Irrfan Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan. In a recent interview, she had talked about nepotism, that has caught our attention.

In a recent interview with a web portal, the actress had revealed that she had to struggle to land a role in Angrezi Medium because a starkid was already selected for the role. She had to almost coax the casting director to take her audition and thereby finally landed the role.

But now, she has also revealed that she was rejected from a film because she was not ‘pretty enough’.

In the same interview, Radhika has said that she was being considered for Student Of The Year 2 and she was more than keen to do the role. But the casting director apparently said that even though she is a good actress, she is not ‘pretty enough’.

Well, one cannot stop talent for a very long time, can they? Radhika is all set for her next release Angrezi Medium and will also be a part of Shiddat - Journey Beyond Love. She had received rave reviews for her performance in Patakhaa and Mard Koi Dard Nahi Hota!
