    Rahul Roy Suffering From Aphasia After Brain Stroke, Actor Looking At A Slow Recovery Will Need Extensive Physiotherapy

    Actor Rahul Roy suffered a brain stroke while shooting in for an upcoming project in Kargil and the actor was immediately brought back to Mumbai and admitted to the Nanavati Hospital for treatment. While the 52 year old actor is said to be responding well to treatment the actor has been reportedly struck by Aphasia- a condition where the patient is unable to string sentences correctly.

    An ETimes report sharing an update on the actor’s health has also claimed that the actor’s right side has been impacted due to the brain stroke and the right hemisphere of his face is affected along with some weakness in the actor’s right arm.

    The doctors were reportedly also discussing a surgery for  Aphasia which has presently been put in the backburner. The Aashiqui star will take some time to recuperate and will need extensive physiotherapy later to recover completely.

    Rahul was shooting for his upcoming digital film LAC – Live The Battle in -15 degree temperatures which contributed to his condition. The film’s producer and director Nitin Kumar Gupta is footing the bill for the actor’s treatment and after he suffered a brain stroke in Kargil, Rahul was swiftly moved by the team to Shrinagar and to Mumbai thereafter.
