Raj Kundra Case: Shilpa Shetty claims no pornographic film but just erotica were made- reports

It was on Monday that businessman and Shilpa Shetty's husband Raj Kundra was arrested. But the actress had been out of the radar so far till yesterday. It was on Friday that Shilpa's residence was raided and she was questioned about the matter. She also informed that she had stepped down as the director from the company in question that's under their son's name. Now, it is being reported that Shilpa Shetty, in her statement has claimed that no pornography but erotica were produced by the company- a claim made by even his lawyer, and actress Gehana Vasisth who had shot three films for the Hotshots app.

According to a report in Peepingmoon, the actress was apparently questioned for six hours and she claimed that she wasn't exactly aware of what went into the Hotshots app. However, as an actress she vouched for the fact that no artist was forced to do a nude scene. She also said that if it were true, they could've filed complaints when it took place and even said, “We are being trapped for no reason. This case is a trap and is full of mala fide intentions just to make money out of it.”

The police had also been looking into any monetary involvement that Shilpa would have in the alleged case. She claimed that Kundra’s partners misused his name and that she had no idea that transactions were made using her bank account. The actress' and Raj's gadgets- including phones, laptops and ipads were seized by the crime branch.
