Rajiv Lakshman Deletes Post With Rhea Chakraborty, Says He Had Created 'Unnecessary Trouble' With His 'Choice Of Words'

Tees Maar Khan actor Rajiv Lakshman has been one of those people who have by far steered clear of controversies. However, he found himself in the midst of a lot of hatred after he had posted a picture with Rhea Chakraborty. The ire was mainly from people who claimed themselves to be fans of Sushant Singh Rajput. He had captioned the picture as 'My Girl', making many think that the two are dating. However, Rajiv has not just deleted the post now but has also issued a clarification.

Rajiv took to his social media and wrote, "I seem to have created unnecessary trouble with my irresponsible choice of words on a post. Rhea is a dear old friend, and I'm happy to meet her again, & I wish her well." See the post here:

Well, this was the first picture where Rhea can be seen with anyone else other than her family post Sushant's death. Last year had been difficult for almost all of us, but it was particularly unforgiving for Rhea Chakraborty. The actress lost her boyfriend, actor Sushant Singh Rajput, and was then named as the prime suspect for his death by his family. She spent most of the year appearing before the ED, the NCB and the CBI and was also kept in judicial custody by the NCB along with her brother before the Bombay High Court ruled in her favour. Now, she is keen to start afresh and was seen house hunting with brother Showik in Bandra at the very start of the year.
