Rajkumar Hirani's next featuring Shah Rukh Khan to have three leading ladies? Manoj Bajpayee, Boman Irani also in talks

Shah Rukh Khan’s upcoming collaboration with filmmaker Rajkummar Hirani has been all the buzz for some time now. While the actor appears to have his hands full with Siddharth Anand’s Pathan at the moment, the superstar is readying an extravagant line up of films. His debut collaboration with Rajkumar Hirani is one of the three big films he is in the news for.

Touted to be an immigration drama panning over two countries, India and Canada, the latest on the project is that it will feature not one but three top actresses. Taapsee Pannu’s name has been associated with the film time and again but now according to a Free Press Journal report, names of Kajol and VIdya Balan have also been associated with the project.

The sources of the publication claim that Kajol has been approached to play Shah Rukh Khan’s wife in the film while Taapsee’s is an important role of a journalist who tells the tale of Shah Rukh’s character and his family. Vidya who has worked with Raj Kumar Hirani previously in Lage Raho Munna Bhai has apparently been approached to play a key role as someone who guides SRK’s character in the film.

Not just these three leading ladies, names of Manoj Bajpayee and Boman Irani have also cropped up in association with the project. According to reports the filmmaker has given a final narration to the actors he expects to cast but a formal will only be made after the cast signs the dotted line.

For now SRK is expected to move on to Atlee’s next after wrapping up Pathan. He will follow it up with the immigration drama.
