Rajkummar Rao-Kriti Sanon NOT Shelved, Dinesh Vijan To Begin Filming Next Week

Just a few days back, reports had been doing the rounds that Dinesh Vijan's next which would have Rajkummar Rao and Kriti Sanon in the lead has been put on hold. The reason cited was that a lot of the films that have been completed by his production house are still to be released, and the work on the new film will start only when he releases the already shot ones. However, it looks like the rumour had been completely false.

According to trade analyst Taran Adarsh, the film has not been put on the backburner. It is right on track and the filming would begin as soon as possible. It would, in fact, begin from the 30th of June. The first schedule would be shot in Chandigarh and it would be directed by Abhishek Jain. The title is yet to be announced. Check out his tweet here:

The film would also have Paresh Rawal and Ratna Pathak Shah, and it would be a quirky comedy where a couple, played by the Bareily Ki Barfi stars Rajkummar Rao and Kriti Sanon, would decide to adopt a couple. Rajkummar Rao has two films up for release- Chhalang and Ludo, and would also be seen in Roohi Afzana alongside Varun Sharma and Jahnvi Kapoor while Kriti Sanon would be seen as a surrogate mother in Mimi.
