Rajkummar Rao remembers crying after Amitabh Bachchan’s Agneepath character died; asked God to bring back Big B

Rajkummar Rao and Kriti Sanon are currently busy bees, out on a promotional spree for their upcoming film Hum Do Hamare Do. Well, the two recently reached the sets of game show Kaun Banega Crorepati where they got a chance to interact with the one and only, megastar and host Amitabh Bachchan. As we have already seen in a promo of the episode, Kriti went down on one knee and asked Big B for a dance. They looked absolutely adorable together!

Well, Raj is also a big fan of the superstar and during the episode he revealed how he cried inconsolably when Big B’s character Vijay died in his 1990 film Agneepath. A report in IANS quoted him saying, “As a child when I was watching 'Agneepath' and when the movie ends where your character, 'Vijay' dies. Sir, after the film got over, I ran into my room and I covered my face with the pillow and started crying loudly.”

The actor recalled, “As I was convinced that Amitabh Bachchan had died and I was telling God, 'How can this happen, please bring back Amitabh Bachchan, God. How can God do this, he can't die. Then my mother came and told me that this is just a film and it's not real.” We can clearly see how big an Amitabh Bachchan fan Rajkummar Rao is!

We are now eagerly waiting to watch the exciting episode on 29th October, the same day that Hum Do Hamare Do premieres on Disney+Hotstar.
