    According to a report in Mid-Day, a source revealed that makers of the films are considering Gandhi Jayanti for releasing their much-awaited projects. The source was quoted saying, “Now, the team is eyeing an October 2 release for the T-Series produced film. The discussions, however, are in the nascent stage as there is uncertainty about the reopening of cinemas. If all goes well, Chhalaang, which is presented by the studio, too will hit the marquee, though its release date has yet to be ascertained.”

    Rajkummar Rao and Nushrat Bharucha starrer Chhalaang is a social black comedy directed by Hansal Mehta, which was initially slated to hit theatres in January this year. However, it was pushed to 13th March and later postponed to release on 12th June. Indoo Ki Jawani, on the other hand, is a coming-of-age comedy featuring Kiara Advani and Aditya Seal in the lead. It follows the story of a girl from Ghaziabad, her experiences and misadventures with dating apps.
