Raksha Bandhan: Akshay Kumar To Start Shooting For The Aanand L Rai Film From April

Akshay Kumar had been on a film signing spree last year. The actor, who had many films already in his kitty, not just finished the films he had signed but also announced a few new ones. One of those among the latter was Raksha Bandhan. The first look poster gave the feeling that it would be a family drama. Now, we have an update on the same!

According to a report in Pinkvilla, Akshay Kumar would begin the shoot for the film by April. A source was quoted saying, “He will be shooting for about 40 to 45 days for this slice of life film, set in the heartland of India. Akshay plays the role of a caring elder brother to three sisters in the film, which rides on the emotion that every Indian can relate to, The tentative shooting date from April 15.”

The same source added that the tentative release date for the film is Diwali and the actor is working accordingly. However, there are chances of the date being shuffled, since he would await the release of other big films as well this year. Needless to say, this year is definitely going to be super interesting and Akshay Kumar fans are up for a real treat!
