Rakul Preet Singh Confirms Receiving A NCB Summon

Rakul Preet Singh Finally Receives NCB's Summon; Will Now Be Questioned On 25 September Alongside Deepika Padukone

The Narcotics Control Bureau’s drug probe in the Sushant Singh Rajput is now producing links to bigger names in Bollywood and Deepika Padukone, Rakul Preet Singh, Sara Ali Khan and Shraddha Kapoor have now been summoned. The central agency seems determined to bust the Bollywood drug nexus and in the same vein when actress Rakul Preet Singh’s team refuted claims of getting a summon for 24 September, the NCB acted fast and said that she’s just making excuses.

Senior NCB official KPS Malhotra said in a statement, “Her summons were issued and she was contacted through various platforms including the phone no available. There has been no response so far from her. It’s just an excuse… She will not join probe today”.

Rakul was to appear at 11 am but with the confusion regarding her summon the actress will now have to appear on Friday, September 25 or else a non-bailable warrant will be issued by the agency in her name. The actress who was in Hyderabad for a shoot earlier will now be appearing for questioning alongside Deepika Padukone.

The NCB later confirmed receiving a confirmation from the actress for a summon sent to her digitally a second time.
