Rakul Preet Singh Trolled For Smoking, Compares Herself To Kabir Singh

It was only recently that Rakul Preet Singh was trolled for the length of her outfit and now people have a problem with her for smoking. No, not in real life, but people have issues with her smoking in the teaser of her new film Manmadhuru 2.

Rakul Preet plays a female Casanova in the film opposite Nagarjuna and can be seen smoking in one of the scenes in the teaser. The scene has been described by a few, to be ‘deeply disturbing’ by some.

Talking about the controversy, Rakul Preet, in a recent interview, said, “I don't really get bothered by trolls. I think logo ka kaam hai kehna, kuch toh log kahenge. We are playing characters. Now, whether it is Kabir Singh... if Shahid is smoking in the film it does not make him a smoker. No way he is promoting smoking. He is playing a character Arjun Reddy that is flawed and he does those things. In real life Shahid Kapoor is a vegetarian, we all know that.”

Previously also Rakul had hit back on trolls for targeting her and commenting on her outfit.
