Ram Setu: After Jacqueline Fernandez, Nushrratt Bharuccha Roped In Opposite Akshay Kumar In The Film?

It was during Diwali 2020 that Akshay Kumar announced his upcoming film, Ram Setu. But, makers haad still been looking out for the female lead. Reports suggested that Jacqueline Fernadez would play the role opposite the actor. While we had still been awaiting official confirmation, there is more news that will make everyone super excited.

It is now being reported that the film will have two leading ladies. While Jacqueline's name is still associated, the new addition seems to be Nusrhratt Bharuccha. A report in ETimes claimed that Nushrratt will share screen space with Akshay Kumar for the first time with this film.

Well, we are eagerly waiting for the official confirmation. Akshay Kumar had taken to social media last year and wrote, "This Deepawali, let us endeavor to keep alive the ideals of Ram in the consciousness of all Bharatiyas by building a bridge(setu) that will connect generations to come. Taking this mammoth task ahead, here is our humble attempt - RAM SETU ! Wishing you & yours a very Happy Deepawali!" The film would be directed by Abhishek Sharma and his Prithviraj director Chandraprakas Dwivedi would be the creative producer of the film. Apart from this one, Akshay Kumar has several films in his kitty- Sooryavanshi, Bell Bottom, Prithviraj, Atrangi Re, Bachchan Pandey, Raksha Bandhan and Jagan Shakti's next.
