Ram Setu: Akshay Kumar’s Co-Stars Jacqueline And Nushrratt Test Negative For COVID-19

Just a few days after he began shooting for Ram Setu, Bollywood’s Khiladi tested positive for novel coronavirus. He was under home quarantine, isolated, but was later hospitalized. The actor took to his social media handle to reveal: “Thank you everyone for all your warm wishes and prayers, they seem to be working. I am doing fine, but as a precautionary measure under medical advice, I have been hospitalised. I hope to be back home soon. Take care.”

The shoot of Ram Setu came to an abrupt halt and Akshay’s co-stars Jacqueline Fernandez and Nushrratt Bharuccha, who spent time with him on set, went into isolation just to be safe. However, Nushrratt revealed that the three of them caught up on phone calls. Well, according to the latest report shared by Bollywood Hungama, Nushrratt and Jacqueline took the COVID test recently and their reports have come out to be negative. Phew!

The last one month has been extremely difficult with the second wave of coronavirus hitting the industry hard. Filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Kartik Aaryan and Ranbir Kapoor recently recovered, whereas Alia Bhatt, Vicky Kaushal, Bhumi Pednekar and Govinda have announced that they tested positive for COVID-19. We wish all of them a speedy recovery and hope we come out stronger in this fight with the pandemic.
