Ram Setu: Jacqueline Fernandez Paired Opposite Akshay Kumar In The Film?

Jacqueline Fernandez has been keeping busy these days with back to back shoot. The actress was shooting for Rohit Shetty's Cirkus in Mumbai a few days back and now she seems to have joined Akshay Kumar in Rajasthan's Jaisalmer to shoot for her part in Bachchan Pandey. Now, we are getting to hear that she would be teaming up with Akshay once again, for Ram Setu.

According to a report in PeepingMoon, Jacqueline has been cast as the leading lady in the Akshay Kumar starrer announced last year. There has been no official confirmation of the same yet.

Ram Setu was announced on Diwali 2020 and not much has been known about the film yet. Announcing it, Akshay had written, "This Deepawali, let us endeavor to keep alive the ideals of Ram in the consciousness of all Bharatiyas by building a bridge(setu) that will connect generations to come. Taking this mammoth task ahead, here is our humble attempt - RAM SETU ! Wishing you & yours a very Happy Deepawali!" The film would be directed by Abhishek Sharma and his Prithviraj director Chandraprakas Dwivedi would be the creative producer of the film. Apart from this one, Akshay Kumar has several films in his kitty- Sooryavanshi, Bell Bottom, Prithviraj, Atrangi Re, Bachchan Pandey, Raksha Bandhan and Jagan Shakti's next.
