    Ramayan’s Laxman Sunil Lahri Reveals He Was Sceptical About Arvind Trivedi Being Cast As Raavan

    Lockdown has been really tough for all of us, as we are prohibited from indulging in any outdoor activity, and are confined in our homes. But, in these difficult times, one thing that amused us was the fact that TV channels started re-telecasting the old shows.

    All these shows which got a re-run on the tube brought back so many memories and filled us with nostalgia ultimately lessened our lockdown blues. Also, as the industry stands still, with no new production, airing old shows helped in keeping the interests of the audiences intact.

    Mythological shows like Ramayan and Mahabharat, outran Netflix’s big web series and web films as far as the TRP game is concerned. Sunil Lahri who played the role of Laxman in Ramayan is on a throwback spree and recently shared a very interesting insight from the show. In his post on Instagram, he shared that when he met Arvind Trivedi, who played the character of Raavan in the series, for the first time, he thought that the latter is on set to meet someone. Later, he was very disappointed to know that Arvind would be cast in the role of Raavan as he thought that he wouldn't be able to perform such a strong role. 

    He went on to further reveal, when Trivedi took up the attire of Raavan, Sunil was taken by surprise and he later revealed that it was unbelievable to see such a transformation.
