    Rana Daggubati and Miheeka Bajaj had during the lockdown spread some joy among fans in these dull times announcing their engagement on social media and sharing pictures from their Roka ceremony. Their wedding was scheduled to take place in August 8 as confirmed by Rana’s father Suresh Babu but it now seems that the couple might have to put the plans for their big day on hold.

    Recent reports suggest that both Rana and Miheeka have decided to postpone their August wedding in light of the increasing number of covid-19 cases in Hyderabad. The couple is looking out for the safety of their loved ones and according to a Telugu portal report their families have been thinking of putting off the big day in favour of everyone’s health.


    There were reports that initially the families had decided on a December wedding but later on fixed a date for August. The families had reportedly begun preparing for the wedding with Rana and Miheeka’s roka begin the first event the festivities on May 21. The Bahubali actor had earlier spoken about the proposal and confessed that Meehika already knew what he was getting at when he called her.

    In a chat with Indian Express Rana said, “She knew where I’m getting at when I called her. And then she met me in person, that’s it. I remember I said a bunch of things together. For me, it was serious. It was commitment. When I met her, that’s the time I felt I am ready to do this. It was that simple, for real.”

    There is no official confirmation from the families on the wedding postponement.
