Rana Daggubati On Nepotism: "Without The Skill, You Cannot Last"

Rana Daggubati had proved his mettle as an actor time and again. He not just worked as a part of the Telugu film industry but has also done a few Bollywood films. It was with Baahubali that his fame skyrocketed. The actor comes from a filmy background and his father is the Suresh Babu. Now, when the topic of nepotism has raged a storm all over India, Rana too faced with the same question. In a recent conclave, he addressed it as well.

During India Today e-Mind Rocks, the actor was posed with the question of what he thinks about nepotism in the film industry. Rana said, "Nepotism comes from an Indian understanding of what a family is. If you have a father who has worked very hard, he will provide it to his family in the means they understand, which is through capital and knowledge. So, we will part of the privileged people. I can't take that away. That comes with greater responsibility. In lockdown, we have to run a company with over 600 employees paying them a salary. We have to make sure that the organisation is back to its feet soon. There's always a responsibility attached to it. Also, there's no option of giving up and you've got to keep getting better." Summing it in one sentence, he said, "Without the skill, you cannot last."

What do you feel about it? Rana Daggubati is going to tie the knot soon with Miheeka Bajaj. He will be getting married on August 8th.He will next be seen in Haathi Mere Saathi.
