The much awaited film, directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, features the actress as Gangubai Kothewali, the madam of a brothel in Kamathipura. After the posters of the film were shared, fans had high expectations from Alia. However, they didn’t expect to be blown away the way they have today. The way she walks, her mannerisms and the fantastic dialogue delivery in the teaser is unbelievably on point!

Well, ever since the teaser was shared, netizens can’t help but gush over Alia. But what’s surprising is that her actor boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor’s name is also trending on social media now. While Alia’s Gangubai Kathiawadi will hit theatres on 30^th July, Ranbir’s period action drama Shamshera is releasing on the big screen on 25^th June. Also starring Vaani Kapoor as a dancer and Sanjay Dutt as the antagonist, the film will feature Ranbir in a double role.
