Ranbir Kapoor-Alia Bhatt Starrer Brahmastra Pushed Again; Is It The Coronavirus Scare Effect?
Ranbir-Alia's Brahmastra Pushed Again
It was back in 2017 that Dharma had announced the fantasy drama, Brahmastra, that would have Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt in the lead roles. Fans had been excited about the novel concept and what was even better was the fact that it would be a trilogy. Ever since the announcement, the film was getting pushed, and it was in 2020 that the final release date of 4th December 2020 was announced. But looks like the film would be pushed even further!
Yes, you read that right. The film was in its final leg of shoot and in the wake of the coronavirus scare, the makers have decided to stall the shoot in Mumbai. According to a report in Mumbai Mirror, a source close to the film had been quoted saying, “Both Ayan and Ranbir have decided to make the safety and well-being of the team their priority. They do not want to put them at any kind of risk. So, for now, the shoot has been shifted to April.”
The team was to finish some sequences by March end itself and it is not even sure if the team can resume shoot in April. Well, it was definitely in the best interest of the entire cast and crew, but that also means that fans would have to now wait longer for the film.
