Ranbir Kapoor Talks Marriage Says, "Want To Tick Mark That Goal Very Soon In My Life"; Feels Girlfriend Alia Is An Overachiever

Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt have been together for over two years now and like any other B Town couple, they have not been spared by the Bollywood rumor mills speculating that they might soon be tying the knot.

While the two actors have been seen spending a lot of time in each other’s company they have never really spoken much about their relationship. Well, on being asked by journalist Rajeev Masand during an interview Ranbir was forthcoming enough to admit that that had ‘pandemic not hit our lives’, he would have ‘sealed’ the deal. Saying more with a few words he added, “I don’t want to jinx it by saying anything. I want to tick mark that goal very soon in my life.”

Ranbir who has been away from the big screen partly due to juggling two big-budget films and thereafter the pandemic-induced lockdown also spoke about how he spent his days when the world came to a standstill. He says he spent time reading and watching nearly two to three films in a day. He didn’t shy away from admitting that his girlfriend rather took as many online courses as she could and called her an ‘overachiever’.

“My girlfriend Alia is a bit of an overachiever, and she probably took every class there is -- from guitar to screenwriting. I always feel like an underachiever next to her. But no, I didn’t take any classes. Initially, we were dealing with the family crisis, and then I got into reading, spent time with my family, and I watch two-three films every day,” he told Masand.

Ranbir will be pairing up Alia Bhatt for Bramhastra for the very first time, he also has YRF’s Shamshera waiting in the wings and hopefully the audiences get to watch both films.
