Ranbir Kapoor To Start Shoot For Luv Ranjan's Next In January, Would Jump To Sandeep Reddy's Gangster Drama By Mid 2021

It's been quite some time since we had seen Ranbir Kapoor on-screen. It is not like the Bollywood heartthrob does not have any project, but they took too long to be completed, with the pandemic adding to the delay. Ayan Mukerji's Brahmastra was to release this month and Shamshera should have released in Jan 2021, but they will now take longer. But, fans can now heave a sigh of relief as the actor is all set to quickly wrap the shoot of his other films.

If a report in Mirror is to be believed, then the actor will kickstart the shoot of Luv Ranjan's next in January itself. The untitled rom-com, which will have Shraddha Kapoor opposite him, would kickstart by January 6, according to a source quoted by the daily. By 14th Jan, he is planning to shoot a major chunk and then return to the last schedule of Brahmastra. He has given January end to Brahmastra, with the shoot of just a few scenes and songs remaining. He would then return to Luv's film and all in all, he is planning to wrap it up by May! The source also added that he might have added a clause that if a film fails to stick to the schedule, he will add more remuneration per day.

He is also in talks with Kabir Singh director Sandeep Reddy Vanga for his gangster drama. He would also play the lead in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's next, Baiju Bawra, whose discussions would happen once the director wraps up Gangubai. He has already finished the shoot for Shamshera!
