Randeep Hooda Is Hurt Because Audiences Can’t See Battle Of Saragarhi, Reveals Why He Did Not Watch Kesari

Randeep Hooda is an actor who has always impressed us with his talent and his dedication towards the character that he has to portray. He blew our minds with his incredible weight loss to potray Sarbjit in his biopic and then we had seen his look as Havildar Ishaar Singh for Rajkumar Santoshi’s Battle Of Saragarhi. Unfortunately, the film has been stalled indefinitely and would probably not see the light of the day! Now Randeep Hooda has revealed that he is hurt.

Well, he had prepped up for the film and had learnt Sikh martial art to look authentic for his role. It is but natural that he would feel bad the audiences would never see it. Talking to Mumbai Mirror, he said, “It hurt that the audience could not see what would probably have been a more authentic version with more real emotions of the story. That apart, you learn to move on. Through the journey, I learnt the principles of Sikhism and I’m a better person now.”

When asked if he had seen Akshay Kumar’s Kesari that was based on the same story, he replied, Nope, it did not excite me.”

We can just hope that we get to see the film someday, even if on OTT platforms. The film was also to mark the debut of Yami Gautam’s sister, Surilie Gautam in Bollywood.
