After winning Bollywood over with his acting chops and good looks, actor Randeep Hooda made his smashing Hollywood debut last year with Sam Hargrave’s action thriller Extraction. Co-starring Chris Hemsworth and Golshifteh Farahani, the film received great reviews. Randeep feels the film and his performance widened his audience base and also opened up opportunities for the future. Well the handsome hunk, who was last seen in Salman Khan’s action entertainer Radhe, now plans to do more action films.

In an interview with ETimes, the Highway star was quoted saying, “I want to do more action films now. I enjoy that genre and want to expand myself as an actor where I need to prepare and change myself in every way and experience another life. I feel fortunate that 20 years down the line, filmmakers find me exciting and unexplored. I am offered challenging work, and I hope it continues. I hope that I can keep doing challenging things till the day I die.”

Randeep went on to share, “I saw Anthony Hopkins in Father. To win an Oscar for the best actor at his age is so amazing. It tells actors what they can do even when they get older. He’s brilliant. There is no end to roles and craft. It keeps getting better as long as you stay interesting and interested.”

Up next, Hooda has two exciting projects in his kitty-- social satire Unfair & Lovely opposite Ileana D'Cruz and Vivek Chouhan’s Rat on a Highway.
