Randhir Kapoor Has No Clue How He Contracted COVID-19; Confirms Kareena, Karisma And Babita Tested Negative

The second wave of COVID-19 is upon us and the list of celebrities who have contracted the virus is getting longer each week. While Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif amongst many others have recovered, a few have revealed that they recently tested positive. Well, veteran actor Randhir Kapoor is the newest addition to the dreaded list. He was admitted to Kokilaben Ambani Hospital in Mumbai on Wednesday evening for treatment after he contracted the virus.

In a recent chat with ETimes, Randhir shared that he was surprised when he tested positive and went on to reveal that members of his staff have also contracted the virus. He was quoted saying, “I have no clue how I got COVID. I am surprised. Let me also tell you that my entire staff of five members, too, has tested positive, and I have got them hospitalised with me in the Kokilaben Ambani Hospital.”

The veteran star shared that he was suffering from shivers and decided to take the test as it’s better to be safe. Giving a health update, he stated, “But overall I am in no discomfort. I have no major problem. I am not breathless and did not need an ICU or oxygen support either. I had a bit of fever but that is gone now.” However, in his latest interview the actor shared that he has been shifted to the ICU for some more tests. Randhir also confirmed that his wife Babita Kapoor and their daughters Kareena Kapoor Khan and Karisma Kapoor have tested negative.
