Many celebrities took to their official handles to share their thoughts about the whole situation after news of Rangoli’s twitter suspension began doing the rounds. Jewelry designer and Sussanne Khan’s sister Farah Khan Ali revealed that she reported the account and is thankful to Twitter for taking this decision, whereas filmmaker Reema Kagti told Bollywood Hungama that she hopes Twitter bans Rangoli’s account permanently. In a chat with the same portal, actress Kubbra Sait also stated that when you have so many followers, it’s important to conduct yourself and your words with responsibility.

On the other hand, singer Sona Mohapatra was displeased with Twitter for taking this action. She shared, “While I might not subscribe to all their views,I also stand by their right to express them.” After facing backlash, she shared another post in which she called Rangoli’s tweet ‘hideous’ but also added that the tweet could have been ‘forced deleted’.
