On 20th August, Karan Johar took his next film Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani on floors. He shared a special clip expressing his gratitude and also unveiled his lead stars Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt’s first look from the quirky romantic comedy. Well, KJo’s directorial is not the only project that the Gully Boy couple is reuniting for. They will also be sharing the big screen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Baiju Bawra, which is one of the most talked about movies of the year.

Well, according to the latest report shared by Mid Day, it’s going to be a pretty tough year for Alia and Ranveer as they will be juggling two of the biggest upcoming Bollywood films. This is because they are currently shooting for KJo's film and Bhansali plans to take Baiju Bawra on floors in October in Goregaon. A source revealed, “At this point, it appears that some parts of Rocky Aur Rani... may overlap with the Baiju Bawra shoot. The primary roadblock will be the look of the characters, as the two actors sport distinct looks in the films. The actors’ teams are ensuring that the duo finish major chunks of Karan’s film before moving to Bhansali’s project.” The report further suggests that after completing Ranveer and Alia’s scenes together, KJo will put all his focus on the portions featuring their on-screen family members Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan and Shabana Azmi.

Back in October last year it was reported that Deepika Padukone and Alia will be romancing Ranbir Kapoor in Baiju Bawra. However, last month it was clarified that not Ranbir, but Ranveer has been approached for the project. It was also reported that Deepika will not be a part of the film because she wanted the same remuneration as her husband, a request which was turned down by the filmmaker.
