Ranveer Singh And Shah Rukh Khan To Star Together In Mr. India Remake? Ali Abbas Zafar's Casting Coup Of The Decade!

How great would it be to see Ranveer Singh and Shah Rukh Khan together on the big screen together? While we all know the answer to that question, what would more epic would be seeing them come together in spin-off of the iconic Mr. India!

Yes! If reports doing the rounds are not playing mind games with us Tiger Zinda Hai director Ali Abbas Zafar might have made the casting coup of the decade. While a Mr. India remake has been in the news for some time now, the filmmaker is said to have been working on the spin-off of Mr. India and is said to be in talks with Ranveer Singh to play everyone’s favorite Mr. India in this new film. As for Shah Rukh Khan it is being said that the king of romance might bring back Amrish Puri's Mogambo to life again.

The 1987 original starring Anil Kapoor and Sridevi was a rage for being the first breakthrough superhero drama. The new Mr. India might not be a remake but a spin-off with the story taking new twists and turns and of course to make it relevant to the times.

Meanwhile, Ranveer Singh who recently bagged the Best Actor trophy for Gully Boy at the Filmfare Awards 2020 will be seen next as Kapil Dev in the sports drama 83 being helmed by Kabir Khan. Later in the year the actor will be seen in a comedy Jayeshbhai Jordaar and has also begun work on Karan Johar’s magnum opus Takht.

Ranveer was also said to be in talks to play Indian comic book superhero Nagraj in the live action film which is also underway.
