Ranveer Singh Ends Six Month Break To Resume Shooting; Is Delighted To Face The Camera Again

Just like the rest of the nation, Ranveer Singh followed all the safety guidelines, observed social distancing and quarantined himself at home during the lockdown. Now that things are slowly but steadily unlocking again, the actor resumed shooting last week after a break of 6 long months. He reportedly began filming a commercial which was shot in eight-hour shifts over three days in a suburban studio. The shooting was done keeping all the safety measures in mind and a crew of only 20 people was present on the set.

In a report shared by Mid-Day, a source was quoted saying, “In keeping with the on-set guidelines, a lean team of 20 had been chosen, and tested for COVID-19 before the shoot. All precautionary measures, including sanitising the set before and after the filming, were adopted. The director had chalked out a storyboard so that the team knew exactly what had to be done once on the floor. Ranveer, who has been raring to get back in the thick of things, was delighted to face the camera after so long. The ad is expected to go on air before Dussehra.”

The superstar is currently gearing up for the release of his much awaited sports drama ‘83, directed by Kabir Khan, which is expected to hit theatres on Christmas this year. Other than ‘83, Ranveer has two other projects in his kitty. He will next be seen in YRF’s social comedy drama Jayeshbhai Jordaar and will also share the screen with Vicky Kaushal, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Alia Bhatt, Bhumi Pednekar and Janhvi Kapoor in Karan Johar’s Takht.
