Ranveer Singh Has Eyes Only For His 'Gudiya' Deepika Padukone, As He Wishes Her On Their Second Wedding Anniversary

Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh’s wedding anniversary coincides with Diwali this year and what should ideally mean a double celebration for the couple has sadly been subdued by the ongoing pandemic situation in the world. Ranveer, however, tried to make do with a very romantic post dedicated to his wife wishing her on their second wedding anniversary.

Sharing two loved up pictures with Deepika with their wedding destination Lake Como in the backdrop, Ranveer wrote, ‘Souls eternally intertwined. Happy second anniversary, मेरी गुड़िया @deepikapadukone’.

It seems like only yesterday that Deepika and Ranveer’s private wedding at Italy’s Lake Como had the nation bursting at the seams with joy. Pictures from their wedding literally broke the internet and the fan frenzy on their return to India was unparallel.

Last year, Ranveer and Deepika paid a visit to Tirupati Balaji and the Golden Temple on their first wedding anniversary with their families.

Deepika spoke about this year’s Diwali plans in an interview with Hindustan Times recently and said, “It’s been a difficult year for many in different ways [owing to the pandemic]. So, what we intend to do is, to stay at home, do a simple pooja and spend time with family. Normally, that’s what we, anyway, do." 

On the work front, Ranveer and Deepika will reunite on-screen for ’83 which has been pushed for a 2021 release.
