Just a few days ago, the talented and very energetic Ranveer Singh won the much-deserved Filmfare award in the category Best Actor in a Leading Role, for his spectacular performance in Gully Boy. He played the role of an aspiring street rapper who resides in the Dharavi slums of Mumbai and stole our hearts with his wonderful acting, killer rap skills and screen presence. The Gully Boy team also won the award for Best Actress, Best Director and Best Film.

While Ranveer gave his wife and actress Deepika Padukone the entire credit in his winning speech, fans were upset that the actress could not attend the event. Well, much to our delight, a while ago the actor took to his social media handle to share an adorable picture of Deepika holding the award in her hand, with a beautiful and proud smile spread across her face. The post will surely melt your heart, but the caption is the real winner! Ranveer wrote: “When my Little lady met my Black lady.” How cute are they!

Interestingly, Deepika and Ranveer are all set to share the big screen once again in Kabir Khan’s much-awaited sports drama 83. While Ranveer will play the character of legendary cricketer Kapil Dev, Deepika will portray the role of his on-screen wife. The film is slated to hit theatres on 10th April.
