‘Ranveer Singh’s Incredibly Crazy-Fun Vibe Was Something To Admire’: Shares ‘83 Actress Aditi Arya

One of the biggest and most-anticipated films of the year, Kabir Khan’s directorial ‘83 is slated to hit theatres on 10^th April. Ahead of the release, model turned actress Aditi Arya, who will be playing the role of Saqib Saleem’s on-screen wife, spilled beans about her character in a chat with Bollywood Life. She shared, “I'm playing Inderjit Amarnath in the film, she is Mohinder Amarnath's wife. She has been crucial to Mohinder Amarnath's journey and my character acknowledges that.”

The beauty also opened up about working with Bollywood superstar Ranveer Singh and was all praise for him. She stated, “It was incredible watching Ranveer Singh transform into Kapil Dev on set. Not only on days he had his shot, even on the days he didn’t. He would still be practicing in the stadium while others will be shooting their scene. One could see all the effort he has been putting in the character, how he just evolves into it on and off-screen. He carries a bit of his character that he’s playing with him partially anyway. His incredibly crazy-fun vibe was something to really admire.”

Other than Ranveer, the sports drama features an ensemble cast of talented actors including Deepika Padukone, Tahir Raj Bhasin, Saqib Saleem, Harrdy Sandhu, Ammy Virk, Pankaj Tripathi and Boman Irani among others. ‘83 will narrate legendary cricketer Kapil Dev’s journey of how he became the captain of the Indian national cricket team that won the 1983 World Cup.
