The rampant rise of the COVID-19 cases in the country is becoming a big cause of concern. As the tally in the nation crossed 43 million singer and rapper Raftaar on Wednesday evening confirmed he has tested positive for the deadly disease.

The Swag Mera Desi singer shared a video message for his fans confirming that after two negative tests his third test has come out positive adding that he’s asymptomatic and has isolated himself. His diagnosis came to light when he got tested before beginning to shoot the newest season of MTV Roadies.

In his video message shared via his Instagram stories he says, “My first two reports were negative. However, my third test result that came today is positive. The BMC has asked me to stay in isolation, so I have isolated myself at home. I am alone.”

Raftaar also shared his doubts about the validity of the test and said, “I am waiting for my next COVID-19 test as I feel there's a technical error because I'm fit and fine. I am not feeling unwell and I don't think I have the disease because I don't have any symptoms.”

He added that he will still practice isolation and get back with an update if anything happens, “It's my duty to isolate myself, I am fine, fit. Whatever happens I will update you about my health. Don't worry."
