Rashami Desai cancelled promotions of her music video as she was grieving after Sidharth Shukla’s death; calls him ‘special’

Actress Rashami Desai and her Dil Se Dil Tak co-star Sidharth Shukla shared amazing chemistry on-screen. However, when they participated together in the 13^th season of Salman Khan’s reality show Bigg Boss, it was revealed that they weren’t exactly best of friends in real life. Sometimes they fought like enemies but on other days they teased each other like old friends. The two shared a special bond and evidently cared about one another, even though they never said this to each other. Well, just like most fans and celebs, Rashami was also broken when she heard that Sidharth passed away after a massive cardiac arrest earlier this month.

Rashami was amongst the first to arrive at the late actor’s residence to pay her last respects. Well, in a recent chat with ETimes, the actress revealed that she had cancelled all promotions of her music video Subhanallah when she heard the heartbreaking news. Rashami was quoted saying, “I have experienced a lot of hard times in my life but I have never compromised my professional commitment. But this time I was seriously left broken. Sidharth was special, no doubt we fought, we had our issues but at the end of the day there was a good friendship and we cared for each other.”

Rashami went on to share, “I can say much but this time I couldn't keep going. I planned to not be part of any promotion activities for the song. I am lucky that our producer Shahzeb Azad understood my situation and allowed me to grieve.” Well, it truly was a tough time for the people who knew and loved Sidharth. Till date, many have not been able to accept that he is not amongst us anymore. But he continues to live on in our hearts forever.
