Rashmika Madanna IT Raid: 5 Crores INR Of Undeclared Asset Seized By Officials From The Star’s Residence?

The IT raids conducted at Telugu actress Rashmika Madanna’s residence had grabbed the headlined all over since the last few days. Touted as one of the highest paid actress down south, Rashmika’s Karnataka home was raided by officials from the Income Tax Department from Bengaluru . Her team had clarified that the raid was not made because of her but because of the assets of her father. But now, it has come under light that an amount of 5 crores INR had allegedly been seized from her residence, including 25 lakhs of unaccounted cash and documents.

According to a report in Deccan Chronicle, two Pan cards under Rashmika’s name was found. A source had told the daily that undeclared income worth 5 crores INR had been claimed by the officials after 30 hours of investigation!

The actress had reached the office of the Principal Commissioner for IT at Nazarbad yesterday with nine people. She said, “The I-T officials have sought some documents and we are here to submit them”. Her mother was quoted saying, "We all cooperated with the officials since Thursday. The officials asked some questions which we answered properly."

There had been many reports suggesting that Rashmika is the highest paid actress. She had refuted the rumours and said that she still feels like a debutant in the industry.
