Raveena Tandon Opens Up On The Pressures, Dirty Politics And Mean Girl Gangs Of The Industry

On 14^th June, Bollywood lost Sushant Singh Rajput, an exceptionally talented and hard-working actor who not only won our hearts with his charming smile but also left us in awe each time he shined on the screen. The actor was reportedly under depression since the past few months. While fans are heartbroken by the news, the film fraternity is devastated. The biggest question on our minds right now is ‘Why?’ Some are dealing with the loss by remembering some of Sushant’s best work. However, there are also some netizens who are blaming the industry for blocking out the actor because he was an ‘outsider’.

Amid all this, actress Raveena Tandon decided to revisit her own journey in cinema along with the old wounds and opened up about some dark realities. Raveena also stated that it can happen to an insider as well. She said, “It can happen to someone born within,an “insider” as I can hear insider/outsider words,some anchors blaring away.But you fight back.The more they tried to bury me,the harder I fought back. Dirty politics happen everywhere. But sometimes one roots for good to win,and Evil to lose.”
