    Raveena Tandon's Shab closes the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne 2017

     
    The Indian Film Festival of Melbourne 2017 which kicked off on 10th of August with a great fanfare celebrating Diversity as the theme of this year has come to an end after two weeks of celebrations and fun last night. The festival kick started with Lipstick Under Burkha as the opening film and closed with the critically acclaimed romance drama film Shab. The film stars versatile actress Raveena Tandon and newcomer Ashish Bisht along with Sanjay Suri, Simon Frenay amongst others. Shab is directed by seasoned director Onir and produced by Sanjay Suri and Onir. 
     
    The film earned rave reviews globally and Raveena Tandon’s performance was lauded by the audience. Shab is a story about broken people on the lookout for a real connection that can lead to happiness. But they look for it in the wrong places. The screening of the film Shab was attended  by Raveena Tandon, Onir, Mitu Bhowmick Lange founder and curator of Indian Film Festival of Melbourne 2017 and other dignitaries.
