    Looks like the Akshay Kumar starrer is in no mood to go out of headlines. We were all super excited when Akshay Kumar decided to star in the Hindi adaptation of the Tamil film Kanchana 3. The fact that Raghava Lawrence, who directed the original Tamil film would be directing this one as well was also a cherry on the cake and we were even excited about Kiara Advani being paired opposite Akshay Kumar for the first time.

    However, the film is being marred by one controversy after another. According to recent reports, director Raghava Lawrence was not happy about Kiara Advani’s casting. A source close to the director revealed that he was promised that the likes of Katrina Kaif or Deepika Padukone. The source said, “The director didn’t have an issue with bigger names for the actresses as they would add to the project, but he had no clue who Shabina (casting director) had approached or spoken to. Till the last minute it seemed Katrina or Deepika was on board till he heard that Kiara had been signed and by then, he was already exhausted as too many fights have been happening, so he said fine to Kiara.”
