Rhea Chakraborty Arrest: Kareena, Sonam, Anurag Kashyap And Others Come Out In Support Of The Actress

In a shocking turn of events, Sushant Singh Rajput’s girlfriend and actress Rhea Chakraborty was arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau on 8^th September in a drug case linked to the late actor’s untimely demise. It is being reported that Rhea broke down after being confronted with her brother Showik, who was arrested last week along with Sushant’s house manager Samuel Miranda for procuring drugs. Buzz also suggests that the actress allegedly confessed taking drugs with Sushant and Showik, but clearly stated that she was never in touch with drug dealers.

Rhea has been under the radar of netizens ever since the investigation began and has been constantly trolled. She was even mobbed outside NCB’s office a few days ago and the photographs were extremely disturbing. Well her arrest took the internet by storm and many Bollywood celebs have now come out in her support. Kareena Kapoor, Sonam Kapoor, Vidya Balan and Anurag Kashyap among others have shared a quote which was written on Rhea’s t-shirt yesterday. It reads: “Roses are red, violets are blue, let's smash the patriarchy, me and you.”

Many stars also added the hashtag ‘#JusticeForRhea’ in their captions. Meanwhile, Rhea’s lawyer Satish Maneshinde told ANI: “Travesty of justice. 3 central agencies hounding a single woman just because she was in love with a drug addict who was suffering from mental health issues for several yrs & committed suicide due to consumption of illegally administered medicines, drugs.”
