Rhea Chakraborty Files FIR Against Sushant’s Sister Priyanka Singh, Alleges She Gave Him ‘Psychotropic Drugs’

There are twists galore in the Sushant Singh Rajput and Rhea Chakraborty case. The drug angle in the case has brought out many new shocking revelations to the fore. Rhea Chakraborty’s brother, Showik Chakraborty has been arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau and Samuel Miranda [Sushant Singh Rajput’s house manager] too has been arrested by the NCB officials.

And now, the latest is Rhea Chakraborty has filed a case against Sushant’s Delhi-based sister, Priyanka Singh for forgery and sending a bogus prescription. The complaint has been filed at the Bandra Police station and the copies of the complaint have been sent to Mumbai Police Commissioner Param Bir Singh.

Along with Sushant’s sister Priyanka, the complaint has also been filed against Dr. Tarun Kumar of Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital and others for forgery under Indian Penal Code, 1860, the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985, and TeleMedicine Practice Guidelines, 2020.

In her complaint, the Jalebi actress stated, Priyanka had sent Sushant a prescription by Dr. Tarun Kumar and Tarun "appears to have prescribed medication controlled under Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 to Sushant without any consultation as mandated by law".

In the complaint, the actress further stated, "drugs prescribed by the doctor (Dr. Tarun Kumar) were prohibited from being prescribed electronically under the Telemedicine Practice Guidelines, 2020".

The complaint has been filed because it was depicted that the late actor was an “Out-Patient person” while he was in Mumbai on 8th June, ‘20.

In a statement to the media, Rhea Chakraborty's lawyer confirmed the news, “Rhea Chakraborty has filed a police complaint before the Mumbai Police against Priyanka Singh, Dr. Tarun Kumar of Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital and others for offenses of forgery, NDPS Act and Tele Medicine Practice Guidelines 2020, for having sent a bogus medical prescription depicting SSR as an Out-Patient Department person.”
