Rhea Chakraborty Tells Supreme Court She'll Not Submit To An 'Illegal Investigation', Explains Her Fallout With Sushant's Family

The Supreme Court is yet to deliver its verdict on Rhea Chakraborthy’s petition seeking the transfer of Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case to the Mumbai police. In a submission to the apex court, Rhea has denied all the allegations levied against her in the F.I.R filed by Sushant’s family and stated that the case has become more political than about seeking the truth.

Calling Bihar’s probe an illegal investigation, her lawyer states in the submission, “As per law, Bihar Police ought to have registered a zero FIR & transfer the probe to Mumbai Police. Bihar Police has no jurisdiction in the case. Rhea will not submit to an illegal investigation.”

“Comments at last SC hearing, make it evident that this has become more about politics than truth. Unwanted & irrelevant submissions are being made. Number of politicians taking advantage of the case on eve of elections in Bihar,” her lawyer added.

Another shocking revelation in the submission was Rhea’s clarification about Sushant’s strained relationship with his family. Rhea’s claim is that after Sushant’s sister Priyanka touched her inappropriately after they got back to the actor’s home after a party in April 2019, he had a fall out with his sister and that ever since her relationship with Sushant’s family has been strained.

The submission also claims that Rhea has never met or spoken to Aditya Thackeray while she has only met Dino Morea socially as he is her senior in the industry.
