Rhea Chakraborty Worried Whether She Can Afford Rs. 17000 EMIs, Sushant's Sister Raises Questions Over Lawyer's Fee

Many eyebrows were raised after Rhea Chakraborty got one of the most high profile lawyers in the country on her case soon after an F.I.R was registered against the actress in Patna by Sushant’s family. The actress is being represented by advocate Satish Manshinde who has previously fought cases for stars like Salman Khan and Sanjay Dutt and his fee is said to run in lakhs per day.

The actress in her recent interview with India Today said that Sushant’s family’s allegations have broken her family and she probably won’t even be able to afford the Rs. 17000 EMI on her Khar East house with her career ruined.

Sushant’s sister Shweta Singh Kirti who has been the most active member of the late actor’s family on social media in seeking justice for his death has now questioned if Rhea can’t afford Rs. 17000 for her EMI how come she’ paying ‘the most expensive lawyer of India’.

The late actor’s family friend Smita Parikh in an earlier interview with Republic TV said that she was told by Rhea that Manshinde approached the actress and got on board to represent her expecting no fee in return. The advocate however has now rubbished such reports and told ANI, “What Rhea said in her interview was only that I didn't raise bills in her case and whatever people are saying that I approached her for this case and offered my services for free is not true. Fees is a matter between me and my client: Satish Maneshinde, #RheaChakraborty's lawyer.”

Rhea in the meantime is now also been booked in a case of money laundering which is being probed by the Enforcement Directorate. The actress has claimed she never took a penny of Sushant’s money and has already submitted proof to the ED during questioning.
