Richa Chadha Doesn’t Seek Validation From Insiders, Says, ‘Our Ideas Of Cinema Are So Different’

Sushant Singh Rajput’s death has stirred up many controversies and it continues to, as fans and well-wishers of the actor are absolutely adamant about bringing a change of sorts in Bollywood. Since the sad demise of the actor, many from the film industry have voiced their opinion on the matter which has given rise to the insider-outsider debate too.

Actress Richa Chadha had recently written a blog about the ‘kind and unkind’ people in Bollywood and now, in an interview with India Today, the actress stated, she is an outsider and has never been bothered about any validation from the insiders. She said, "Where I stand on this insider-outsider debate is that, like in the rest of the world, the death of nuance is being played. I am an outsider and I was hired for my first film by outsiders. I was never favoured by any insider club. I also don't seek their validation because our ideas of cinema are so different. Like I said in my blog, the only difference I find between the insiders and outsiders is that some people are kind and some are not."
