Richa Chadha Pens A Heartwarming Note For Ali Fazal’s Late Grandfather; Remembers Their First Meeting

Last year in the month of June, actor Ali Fazal lost his mother due to health complications. He had barely recovered from the heartbreaking loss when a few days ago he had to bid a final goodbye to his grandfather. Remembering how his Nana and Nani took care of him as he grew up, Ali shared, “He passed away Raatko. Less than a year of his daughter-my mother leaving. I suppose this is The Will.” Along with the heartbreaking post, he shared beautiful pictures from happier times with his grandparents.

Today, Ali’s fiancé and actress Richa Chadha took to her official social media handle to pay tribute to his late grandfather. Along with an adorable selfie, she wrote: “Dear Nana, I remember when I met you for the first time, and showed you the photo of the Grandpa character from the film ‘UP’... I said he looked like you, you seemed to agree... Now you're gone and all I have are some photos... my heart is heavy and the tears won't stop... but I am not alone in the experience of this colossal grief...so many have lost ppl they loved, so many couldn't say bye...like I couldn't.”

She went on to add, “...I love you and I will miss you and your smile. I can't almost hear your voice through this photo...A part of my heart goes with you. Rest in peace Nana. Love you always. Goodbye. R.I.P.”

We hope Ali’s grandfather finds peace and his family finds the strength to overcome this loss.
