Riddhima Kapoor Sahni Gets Permission To Attend Father Rishi Kapoor’s Last Rites, To Arrive Mumbai From Delhi

We had informed you that Riddhima Kapoor Sahni might have to miss father Rishi Kapoor’s last rites because she is in Delhi and she might not be able to reach Mumbai due to nationwide lockdown. But now, we have learnt that she has already gotten the necessary permission and would be coming back to Mumbai from Delhi to be a part of her father’s last journey. But unfortunately, she has only gotten a travel permission by road.

According to a report in TOI, she had acquired the permission from Delhi Police at around 10:45 am for 5 people to travel from Delhi to Mumbai. While police will assist them too, DCP Southeast, Delhi Police was quoted saying, “We have only approved movement passes. It is understood that as train and flights are not operating, they will travel by road.”

Sources close to  Riddhima had informed the daily that she had been trying to get a permit to travel when she heard that Rishi Kapoor was unwell, on Wednesday. Her friends have not heard back from her but she is also trying to get air travel permit so that she can reach at the earliest. However, when DIG CISF of Felhi Airport was contacted, he said that the airport has not received any information of air travel.

We hope she would make it to her father’s last rites.
