    R.I.P Jagdeep: Late Actor-Comedian To Be Laid To Rest A Cemetery In South Mumbai, Jaaved Jaffery Leaves For Funeral

    Legendary comedian and actor Jagdeep breathed his last in Mumbai last evening. Best known for playing Soorma Bhopali in Sholay the late actor was 81 and was suffering from age-related ailments and died at his residence in Mumbai at nearly 8:30 pm on Wednesday, 8 July.

    According to an ABP report producer Mehmood Ali who is close to the family revealed that the actor will laid to rest in a cemetery in South Mumbai at 11:30 am. There is however no official statement from the family on the matter.

    Actor Javed Jaffery was spotted at his residence as he prepared to leave with his family for the funeral of his late father.

     As the news of his death broke several Bollywood celebrities expressed their grief and paid heartfelt tributes to the late actor for his contribution to Indian cinema and making audiences laugh for years. Ajay Devgn, Anil Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Anupam Kher, Raveena Tandon, Arshad Warsi, Pooja Bhatt, Randeep Hooda, John Abraham, Javed Akhtar and several fans shared posts as a tribute to the late comedian.

    Jagdeep who started his career as a child artist in B.R. Chopra’s Afsana starred in over 400 films in his career including films like Bramhachari, Sholay, Qurbani, Shahenshah, Andaz Apna Apna and several others.

    The late actor is survived by his two sons Javed Jaffry, Naved Jafri, wife and daughters.
